As per title
I find myself having to disable the 5g option on my phone because, everytime it connects to it, the network is so slow I can't use youtube or browse the web.
Given that I switched to o2 as I usually use the phone in an area covered by the 5g, as per o2 coverage checker, this is really disappointing.
I've tried everything, it just looks like the 5g they advertised is trash.

Due to the pandemic, they wont be working on masts only for essential maintenance. No doubt the proposed roll out of 5G has been put on hold as well. Just use 4G for now and be grateful that you have a working phone. many others haven't
