So I pay a bill of £36 a month (which usually comes to more than that) but in my contract it says I Get 500mb of Internet. This only lasts me 5 days, yet when I went to buy more last month as mine had ran out, the newly bought 500mb had last me 2 weeks? I do use wifi as much as I can to. Is anyone else feel like there getting ripped of ?

Maybe you should switch off your data when you're not in need of it. 500MB isn't all that much. If your apps are updating in the background or at night, that will use up your allowance quickly. You should try updating your apps over WiFi whenever possible.

I don't see how choosing to buy more data because you've used what you've already paid for = getting ripped off, but okay. If it happens frequently it might be worth buying more data at once as it may work out cheaper. Do you know which apps are using most of the data?

Fair enough, but I dont see how the first 500mb that comes out of my contract straight away, uses up so quickly and when I bought the additonal that it was able to last far far longer. The only apps I use are FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat and Email

Things like Instagram and Facebook being photo heavy can use quite a lot of data if you use them frequently. The network doesn't distinguish between included allowances and extras bought afterwards so it must just be your usage patterns. As I said, if you're paying extra every month it's probably worth seeing how much it would be to increase your regular monthly allowance.
