4G page - https://www.o2.co.uk/4g/setup/error/500

Keep getting the same error when I try the 4G setup assistant on your website. Enter SMS code, chose phone, get error. (tried different browsers and machines multiple times over the last two days).

I have an existing contract, received an updated SIM yesterday from O2 which is activated and I have a 4G capable phone. But now I want to get service upgraded to 4G.

Your website doesn't work and you don't answer the phone (Keeps cutting out after going through the menus) .Still waiting on a call back from texting 'CHAT'.

Then you won't get 4G.

The website you are trying to get to won't give you 4G either.

You need to call CS on 202 to upgrade your account......

@Toby - Nothing you can do here, Mutino needs a 4G account....... Smiley Frustrated

I've heard if you ring 202 and keep pressing '0' for the options it can help to get through quicker.

Or try early morning or early evening.

I wouldn't use live chat for upgrading due to some not so good feedback we've had from people who have.
They are non uk outsourced call centres generally ok for low level enquiries.

Frustrating I know. 😞

Or pop into your most local O2 store.

As this could be a fault on the web server contact Toby by private message here, and he can ask the website team to check it out:

You don't need that page to get 4G working anyway. If you have a 4G SIM (activated) and a 4G contract it will come on line without any need for any text codes.

Doh, that won't work then! slight_smile

A 4G tariff will help.

However an appropriate message would be far more suitable than the server app crash... Seriously since 2013 and it's still not fixed...
