Hi everyone. I got my new iPhone 11 Pro Max yesterday. I started a new bill with a fresh 15GB of data. Today I’ve checked my data and it’s all gone. My data roaming isn’t on. Neither is background app refresh. My current roaming period is 12.5GB? I’m really annoyed as I’ve now used my monthly data overnight and I don’t know how! Please someone help.

It's easy to use that much data if you were using 4g to set up your phone.

Best done on wifi.

Hey! Thanks for the reply. But my phone was on 3GB left a couple of hours ago, I’ve been at work and haven’t picked up my phone since now it’s on 1.96GB left? Something is draining it and I have no idea how to stop it

The phone is still syncing everything with iCloud.

It takes a couple of days to complete everything on a new phone.

Hi everyone. Still no luck in finding what the problem is! I’ve had my data turned off ever since but obviously I’m very annoyed as I’m paying for data that’s gone on something and I can’t find out what it went on. Every time I turn my 4G on it just starts going down so quickly.

You need to connect to wifi and let the phone finish it's setup process.

I’ve been connected to WiFi for 8+ hours the past two nights, but whenever I disconnect and connect to 4G it starts draining straight away. So I have no idea.

Something is running so check in Settings >Mobile data and see what is using the most data.

Hey! I think the problem sorted! I think it was what @MI5 mentioned because now when I turn on my 4G it doesn’t drain and it doesn’t go down like it did when I got the phone! So problem is sorted! Thanks so much everyone!
