Hi
I am on a £9 a month simplicity sim only contract - it is 3G only.
I have a 4G capable phone and 4G appears to be arriving in my neck of the woods over the next few months.
If I was to upgrade to a 4G ready simplicity plan would this mean a new sim card?
If it does mean a new sim would I be able to port my current number?
Thanks in advance.

Please takea look at the back of your sim card. Does it state 4GPP OR 3GPP?

No you shouldn't need a new sim card, just check on the back of the simcard and you should hopefully see that it is 4G enabled. If you see 3G then it's an old sim card and will want replacing. Easiest option then would be to go into your local O2 store for a free sim and they will transfer the number for you, usually within minutes.

It says 4GPP - so it looks like all i need to do is ugrade my tariff.
