Hi @Anonymous You can give 30 days notice before end date https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-guides/Cancelling-Your-Contract-A-Guide/ba-p/566774#M56526

If you ask for your pac  it will also end your contract https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-guides/How-to-get-your-PAC-2017-Update/ba-p/1052278

If you have an outstanding CCA/Refresh you will need to settle this first...

You don't need to settle your account before giving notice, in fact it won't be settled anyway until you pay your final bill.
Get your phone unlocked before you leave whilst it's free to do so https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Other-Products-and-Services/Unlocking-an-O2-phone-to-use-a-different-S...
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
