Just to give a bit more info, I have an 02 phone which is able to just get a good enough signal to get internet. I also have a 3rd party mobile hostpot device that ive used in the past on the 3 network (The area im trying to get this to work in at the moment dosent get a signal with 3 at all hence me trying 02).
I just got a payg 02 sim and put some data on it and the mobile hotspot reported a 2g signal but i was unable to get any internet through it. So im not sure at the moment whether the signal just isnt quite good enough to run a mobile hotspot or whether its just a case of it not liking this 3rd party mobile hotspot device i have.
