Our Pay Monthly MMS (multimedia messages) rates are changing. Take a look below to see what's new from 14 November.

Sending an MMS will now be charged as follows:

Type of message Current Price New Price from 14 November 2016

MMS (Multimedia Messages)40p50p

The above changes apply to all customers on a consumer Pay Monthly tariff.

What a rip off! If anything the price of this ancient technology should be going down.

O2 board members clearly live in a bubble of ignorance and are not aware MMS is dying and the only thing that'll make it compete with the 7 million free messaging apps out there is REDUCTION on price, not a hike of this extent.

Hi,

EE have done something simular.

Am i right in saying that as its not an increase due to the RPI then you can cancel your contract without penalty charges as they are changing the T&C's?

I just canceled my ee contract due to this

Thanks, Craig

If there is a significant detriment to you personally, yes you can, but your bills need to show a significant increase to do this.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
