12 Month Sim Only Upgrade

Hey,

 

Does anyone know when you can upgrade a 12 month sim only deal to a handset contract? I've had the sim for just short of 6 months. It says 'you are ready to upgrade' in MyO2 but it just takes me to more sim only deals, just wondering if at some point that will change to enable a handset upgrade?

I think it's after 3 months but you could always pop into your local store & speak to them

It is after 3 months, assuming you have paid on time, but it needs to be overridden by customer services to be able to do so as the system won't allow it automatically.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
