I took out a 12 Month Contract @ 6 per month as part of a Virgin Media Deal. I was promised that would be it until the contract expires in 12 Months time. Why has it gone up to £7.03 in April

It's the rpi increase added to all contracts every year which Virgin prefer to lie about that direct customers to the T&C's.

Ok they LIED then, not good for customer retention. Will be ringing Virgin about this.

Why has it gone up 17% (£7.03) instead of 13.4% then? 13.4% on £6 = £6.80

13.4 plus 3.9% = 17.3 in total.

All in the link I posted above.

Result!

Rang Virgin Media to explain & check that my Virgin media Bill stays the same until April 2014 (it does ie not going up this year which is what they promised on Both Contracts).

They transferred me to O2 Customer service and I have obtained a £15+ Credit due to misinformation.(Took 50 mins of phone calls to get it sorted (Waiting for 40+)
