02 can't find my payment

I paid my bill using the sort code and account number given. And used my mobile number as reference. (As community manager Martin wrote here before)
Barclay's confirm payment has been done. Amount is clearly taken from my account.
Still 02 can't find it... so they sent Moorcroft debt recovery to chase me.
There is no GED except for my reference number(mobile)
What stone age system is 02 using when they can't find a payment when they do have: exact amount, reference number(unique mobile number) and pay date?
I'm not paying twice. That's for sure. It's £155...

Ombudsman next then.
Stupid giving us sort codes and account numbers and saying mobile number as reference is ok when it's clearly not...
