02. Price Rise. Inability to explain. Spelling.

Well, after complaining to 02 regarding the recent price rise I received an e-mail which ended with the following: "We trust this provides you with an adequate explanation our decision."
It also contained the word price spelt as prise and intio instead of into.
And I pay these people?
Not surprisingly, I have complained again. Maybe I will receive another e-mail with spelling mistakes.

If your close to the end of your contract maybe they'll offer you a retentions deal.

If not your pretty much locked in.

Good luck with your complaint.

I agree it isn't very professional, but if the person replying to you isn't using a spell checker, those are easy mistakes to make.

If you want to roll your eyes at spelling and grammar mistakes, just scan some of the posts in this forum. Smiley Very Happy

Agreed, bob, but there is a spell checker here too, and it's hardly used. Many of the spelling mistakes and bad grammar are because of laziness, or not looking at what the predictive text is spelling. It's relatively unimportant, but it's just a pet peeve of mine. wink

I know mate but sometimes its not just because of "laziness" ,but can be down to personal issues.

Not wanting to go off topic too far.

Good luck OP.

Just tried to find out how much to cancel my contrat due to the unfair price increase and have been told it is £286 + VAT. Just another way of getting as much money out of us as possible!

Very minimal, about 60p. But it is the principal of thing that when I signed a 2 year contract it was based on how much it would cost me a month - then I find that they can just go ahead and increase it.....?!
