upgrade

Hi,

I am trying to upgrade early whcih would be 40 pounds. I have selected the buyout scheme which says you will buy me out if i buy a new phone. I selected the iphone 7 (like new) and chose a tariff. I am slightly confused as to how much i am getting charged, it says 19.99 for the upfront cost of my new phone, but just hasn't said anything about the 40 pounds. It also hasn't said anything about my othercontract, will I get charged my normal tariff as well as my new one?

Thank you!

Harriet

Your new phone comes with a new tariff dependent on which one you chose.
The £19.99 is the upfront cost of the new phone that you must pay immediately. O2 will clear the £40 owing on the old contract which will end when the new one starts.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi @Anonymous the £40 will be used to pay off the current contract so you can upgrade. Once the the upgrade process begins you will be charged the upfront fee & the changeover to your new tariff. You will only be charged for the new tariff as the old one will become inactive
