what happens to my unused credit from my Pay as you Go account when/if I decide to leave

I know that but since I don't have reception for O2 where I live and only have the mobile for the discount for broadband there's no point in keeping it .I'm better off with Orange which does give a reception here

just to let you know it worked...I moved to Pay Monthly and got my unused credit back once the month was over.
