Do you have to top up to activate the sim
or can you use the www.o2.co.uk/activatemysim

and can you change your tarrif as soon as the new sim arrives or do you need to top up first???

There are certain sections of the O2 website that have been giving problems. It looks like you will have to call customer service or email them.

You've got a pay and go account. As explained to you, you can't use activatemysim. You need to follow the instructions above.

In that case, why are you posting in the Pay and Go forum? And why are you posting in a thread about activating a Pay and Go SIM card?
I'd love to know what your explanation is?
