Upgrade on us!

Anonymous
Not applicable
I’m looking for some clarity on this “Up grade on us” statement. I went to “upgrade on O2” today and it wasn’t quite what it seemed. I give O2 my current phone which I’ve already paid £480 to pay off the remaining balance! I then have to pay £29.99 upfront for the new phone and £40 a month for the next 2 year for the new phone. Now given that they will likely sell my traded in phone for a profit it’s not entirely clear to me which part of this deal is on “on O2” ??

For clarity the upgrade on us you do not pay off in advance they pay it off when you hand it back

i did it last year .

so you should not have paid the handset off if I read your post correctly
