Phoning from Vietnam

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am in Vietnam.  Before I travelled, my local O2 shop advised that making contact to UK whilst away shouldn't be a problem.  I just can't get any contact or lines to the UK (no recognised signal) - any ideas?

If you are PAYG there is no chance as there are no roaming agreements in place.
If on contract try doing a manual network selection and reboot the phone a few times until you get a connection.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

I've just returned from there. As said, P&G no agreements exist presently. As for contract, not good coverage, O2 Travel poor, TU you are struggling with unless using WiFi at your hotel due to limited retail free suppliers.
