PAYG->monthly - do I need a new SIM?

Anonymous

Hi,

I have a SIM-only pay&go with O2 at the moment - can I switch to Pay Monthly seamlessly, or do I need to get a new SIM, port my number across and so on?

Thanks!

Just call customer service and they will send you a monthly sim with your number attached. You just need to activate the sim when you receive it.

As said there is no need to do a sim swap process yourself but you do need a new sim from cs as PAYG and contract sims hold different information.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
