O2 can't find my address

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello!!
I'm trying to apply for a pay monthly phone but the website doesn't recognise my address. I live above a pub, and I'm guessing this is the reason but this is the only time I've had a issue with this. I can get mail here easily and my bank is registered to this address, i'm wondering how do I go about sorting this out? Or will I not be able to get a phone from them?

Kind regards

There shouldn't be any problems as long as your address is on the Royal Mail database and it matches your bank account details.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I need help with this, New customer, tried countless times to get my SIM CARD ordered to my correct address. Last time, I thought the issue was solved, but they dispatched it to an incorrect address. The card is nowhere to be found, tracking number does not exist. O2 tracking says it is out for delivery for a week already. Also noticed the address appears incorrect in my billing address. I cannot seem to contact support and chatbot is rather useless with this.

Any help with this? Thank you

You could call into an O2 shop, with photo id and proof of address, @Rui1 - or contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255 around 08:15 UK time any weekday morning.

The chat bot, unlike the O2 Social Media Team links above, is woeful at anything "out of the ordinary".

Also if your address is incorrect in Royal Mail's database, you might need to contact them as well, and transfer of new address info to O2 only happens about 2 or 3 times a year - so shop may still be your best bet. Good luck!
