I find that MMS's either don't send or take a long time.
Is there general issue with this? Do I need to check settings?
Thank you

The time taken will depend on your phone's processor speed.
You may need to install the configuration settings. If you have a non-iPhone then text ACTIVE to 2020, or f you have an iPhone then text MMS to 1010. You'll receive a text back with configuration settings which you need to click on and install. After this switch your phone off and on again and see if you can send MMS then. If not you will need to go give O2 a call and they will sort it out for you whilst you are on the phone.

If they do send but they take a long time, it could be to do with your signal.
MMS messages need a data service to send. Also, if the photos are of higher quality, they might take longer but I think phones limit the size of them.
You can also try to get your settings from the link below to make sure you have the right settings so we can rule that out as being the problem.

Hope that helps SDCC! Let me know how you get on!

Personally I find MMS to be a very dated service.
As long as the person you are sending a picture to has a smartphone why not try sending pictures via E-mail or an instant messenger such as What'sApp. Not only will the picture arrive in much better quality but the charge just goes against your data bundle.
