I fitness scam

Anonymous
Not applicable

I noticed after checking my bills, I fitness had been taking £10 per months from my account. I had not signed up to anything?

rang o2 who promised me that if I text stop. It would stop.

it carried on for another month.

Watch out....it's a con...check your invoices.

Not sure how they could have taken money unless you had signed up for this (however inadvertently)

On checking google some people state an ad appears and by clicking on the ad you then sign up for it.

You could report them to phonepayplus http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/

Unfortunately it's nothing to do with O2? They have no control over what services you agree to, do as Cleoriff says and get phonepayplus to look at it.
