How do I change my contact preferences online?

Anonymous

How do I opt-out of marketing calls and texts from O2?

The texts say "To stop texts call 2220", but I tried this and there's no obvious way to unsubscribe.

And when I try to visit 'contact preferences' on MyO2 (either online or in the app), the page doesn't load. It just hangs on 'loading information'. Probably due to this JavaScript error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'category' of undefined

    at o.getPreference (preferences.min.bundle.js:43)

In your My02 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

Go to the MORE tab (top right) and click on "My Choices"

Try a different browser if yours isn't working or call customer services http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Thanks.

I don't have 'my choices', I only have 'my preferences' and when clicking on this I get the issue I just described.

Checked in Chrome and Firefox, both are broken due to the TypeError in the JS code. Is there somewhere I can report this bug to the O2 developers?

@Martin-O2 can report it but I suspect you will be joining a long line of other bugs which never seem to get resolved.
Call CS and ask them to change your preferences for you in the mean time.

Could be another long job. So many errors now and where do they prioritise....I doubt people's preferences will bother them much.

@Anonymous I'll pass this up the chain to see if there are any known issues.
