What phone do you have and is it still under warranty?

If it is just have it repaired.

If not then your best option is to put your sim in another unlocked or O2 phone. If you or a friend doesn't have one you can pick them up fairly cheap now.

If you are on a Refresh contract you can pay off the phone and upgrade.

However, most phones have a 2 year warranty now (apart from Apple).

Hi Jonsie.

Thanks for a rapid reply.

Got the phone through the O2 store in Newton Abbot. Its a Samsung Galaxy GT-S5830i. Yeah I know its basic but as a 40 something it was my first smartphone and was chuffed to get it. Now for some strange reason its decided to do one on me.

If its under warranty where do I head to eg; back to the store or through Samsung.

Cheers.

Your choice Marty. We always recommend dealing directly with the manufacturer but it may be a matter of convenience for yourself. The O2 store will send the phone off for you if you prefer.

Ok. As it happens I have an appointment booked with my Torquay store on Saturday with a guru!

I will take things from there on.

At least I have some options that I was unaware of. Many thanks for your help.

Marty.
