Being charged for received texts that I did not request

I am a young widow (recently) with two young children & have been charged for received txts that I did not request! O2 have told me that they won't give me a refund! Then they should not allow innocent customers in vunerable situations, like me, to be "used!". I am already struggling on every level!

Hi,

First I'm really sorry to read of your recent circumstances ,and my heart goes out to you and your family.

Can you elaborate on what the texts were for and or where they came from.

This way we could perhaps point you in the right direction.

These links may help : http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk/

If you have inadvertently signed up to a service from these texts and are now getting charged for something you don't want you should approach Phone Pay Plus (link in post above).
As O2 have stated already, it is nothing to do with them.
Some people choose to subscribe to these services and therefore, cannot block them.
Hope you get it resolved soon.....
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
