4G data problem on pay as you go

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi

I got a pay as you go sim a couple of weeks ago for my galaxy s7, but there seems to be a problem with 4G. Effectively data doesn't work if the mobile connection is set to "2g/3g/4g (auto)" which is the default setting on the phone. I have to change it to "2g/3g" for data to work on it. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

It maybe that 4G isn't enabled on your account or your area doesn't have 4G yet. Contact customer service

The most likely cause is because they have not changed the default data setting from Blackberry.
You need to call CS on 202 and ask them to set your data type to standard data and save the changes on your account.
The settings should then update from midnight on the day you call.
