Hi there, I've been with O2 over 10 years and I wondered if there was a cheaper way to use my pay as you go contract as it's increased in price, I use around 9gb a month of data but pay for 25gb, is there a way I can pay for less data and it carry across to the next month if I don't use it all. I'm travelling to Bali and Singapore later this year and wanted to know the cheapest way that I can access my 4G/5G over there, I've seen you can do the £6 per day, however this will be too expensive, is there an alternative, or because I've been such a loyal customer you could maybe allow me to use 4G worldwide now?

You don't get 5g on PAYG. You need a monthly contract for that.
Also, there is no Travel plans for PAYG in the areas you are travelling to, so you pay standard rates as shown here https://www.o2.co.uk/international/using-your-phone-abroad
Get a local sim or just use WhatsApp over wifi to reduce costs.

You have not told us what you are paying currently, but the PAYG "Big Bundle" prices are here :-

That page also details the conditions around data rollovers.

25gb is £15 pcm.
You can get 10gb for £10 on a rolling plan hence saving £5 per month and still delivering the required amount of data with data rollover. Pay As You Go SIM Card Deals & Offers (o2.co.uk)

You would be better of moving to a pay and go rolling plan like I did over a year ago.

Im on the £15 plan and never use all the 30gb data every month. So it rolls over to the next month so I end up with 60gb.
I do use a little more data on my iPhone than I used to a few years ago but still no where near 30gb.
Also its a shame that o2 still dont offer 5g or wifi calling on pay and go.
