Hi, my mother in law is having issues with her sim card, it keeps going to emergency mode for no reason and obviously cant make or receive calls. The phone is not android or apple. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Help in here, @g1965 - Guide: How can I sort out my network issues?

It may be possible that your SIM is dying and needs replacement - the phone also could be reaching end of its life, antenna issues will manifest in this way.

@g1965 What phone is it?

If you need to get a replacement sim, best thing to do is to call into an O2 store if you have one nearby. Your mother in law would have to bring identification. They'll swap the sim there. If you order a sim, the current one will be disconnected immediately, but that sounds like it doesn't matter if she's unable to use it.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
