Is it just me or is it England? The inability of O2 to accept a credit card with a post code outside the UK, just blows me away. In this day of internet connectivity why is so hard for O2 to accept foreign credit cards to top up??? Utterly frustrating. Now I have to drag my dongle off to an O2 store.

That seems to be the way with all networks in any country I'm afraid.
I can't top up my French sim card online with my UK bank account either.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

It'd be nice if O2 could add Paypal to payment methods.

Un fortunately O2 have always had this policy. I can understand it to an extent but in this modern age my thoughts are that they should rethink their payments policy.

Why is it I can buy a phone, top up "pay as you go",  but i cannot pay my bill in an O2 shop,

why must i do everything online, not everyone is computer literate or have access to a computer.

O2 is sooooo far behind with the times.

I was always able to walk into my Optus shop in Australia and physically pay my bill.

We have direct debits here in UK so our banks take care of paying our bills.
All other ways to pay already given on the thread but I'll post the link here again anyway https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-Pay-and-Go/How-can-I-pay-my-bill/ba-p/1014090

Not many people want to walk to a shop to pay a bill when Direct Debits save you all the hassle. You dont have to be 'computer literate' to set those up.... If on contract it should be paid via DD anyway
