I am on pay as you go and need a plan that means i don't have to hang up after a hour when calling my mother, is there one on o2?

@ros451 If you and your mother put WhatsApp on your phones, and whoever is making the call, calls using their WiFi connection, the call is free and you can talk for as long as you want to. You don't have to worry about tarriffs or time.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Mum has Dementia and has not got a mobile anymore, she finds it hard to understand me hanging up after 59 mins for me to then re-call her, but thanks for answering my question.

A few people have commented on here about calls cutting off after an hour

Gess it's some sort of timer or failsafe that O2 have put on intentionally

I can't speak from experience as I have never made a call of that length

Some people experience this on hold to customer service

Calls are supposed to automatically cut off if there is silence for 7 mins as a failsafe.
Older tariffs used to have to redial after an hour to maintain the free calls. This was a factor with the classic 3,2,1 tariff and is still on thing on giffgaff.
Not something I am aware of on a big bundle though.
