For the past 2 weeks, i have realised, my texts are costing me triple. I dont know why. I have just sent a text. then i get a "ding" usually to tell me my balance.But it Dings 3/4 times, which means 15p 4 times!!

That would do it, as would sending it to more than 1 person at the same time.

A message is usually 160 characters including spaces. If the message is long then the phone will send as seperate messages which are combined on the receivers phone. Different phones handle messages differently.
