Solved: dialling directly from my contacts list

Hi ,I have tried calling several contacts by pressing the telephone symbol in the contacts list but it wont dial. I have just transferred from another provider but have ported in my old number?

Probably not important as I've just tried on my Chinese phone and it works from either location.
Try rebooting the phone and see if it helps?

Can you call by manually dialing the number?

What phone have you got?
Could you dial that way before joining O2?
Have you tried restarting your phone?
