@billybob69

Landline number here https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Also, if your message is over 150 characters, it will send as 2 messages.

1 sms is 160 characters

2 sms is 320

3 sms is 480

After that it converts to mms Guide: Accidental MMS Sending and How to Avoid it

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

You will need to contact Customer Services on 4445 from your phone.

Also check your phone isn't double sending the texts, as it has been know for some phones following an update to certain apps to do this

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

thanks for the answer mate 👍,

have checked its not sending double texts, thats fine,

is there a landline number for o2 i can ring ?

my phone is not the best and basically used for texts and short calls, so would prefer to contact o2 on landline,

seems odd that theres no listed way i can contact o2 on this site, i always thought it was a legal requirement for companies to supply at least an email and phone contact on there websites,

maybe i'm not looking in the right place laughing

The price of sending texts has recently increased. So has the cost of calls which is now 55p per minute standard rate. How much are you being charged to send a text? If it's 30p per text that sounds normal.
