Solved: Will Sim Expire if Balance is zero, but chargeable...

I have a sim on a Big bundle 5 GBP plan. I use only to receive SMS for various banking apps. I am aware to keep the sim from expiring i need to perform a chargeable activity at least once every 6 months (some debate as to whether an SMS is sufficient or requires a call) - anyway - my balance is now zero after my latest call i made to keep the sim alive and am wondering if the sim will expire as there is no balance ? Or can i simply top up in say 5.5 months time then make another call ?

You need to make a call every 6 months so just top up as you suggest and make the call.
