Solved: Wifi calling

I can’t receive SMS text on my iPhone XS. Running the latest iOS software. Never use a signal connection, only wifi indoors. That picks up FaceTime and Apple Messages fine, but no SMS messages say from my bank to verify an online purchase for instance (which is the issue!). My o2 account is Pay As You Go. Any help is much appreciated.

O2 don't support wifi calling / sms on PAYG unfortunately.

You will need to find a mobile signal to receive sms messages.

Many thanks! I’ve spoken to numerous live advisers at o2 and not one has ‘twigged’ on PAYG, despite my suggestions. I will move my account to another carrier. Regards.

Restart after using my allowance

Close account

Inheriting account/phonenumber from parent

Money taken yet phone not topped up!
