Wanting to cancel my pay as you go to get a contract

I’m wanting to cancel my 12 month pay as you go sim to get a new contract but I don’t know how to do it.

@Charlc if it is a PAYG SIM you don't need to cancel as PAYG stops automatically. You can upgrade to a monthly tariff at anytime, if however it is a SIM only contract you can upgrade to a full contract at anytime after 3 months with no further credit checks.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Charlc  Be aware that taking a new contract will involve a credit check by O2.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
