Hi,
I have an O2 PAYG SIM with a nice phone number and £40 credit remaining.
I have it registered to my name and my email.
I would like to sell the number and change the account details to the new owner.
What is the easiest way of doing this please?
I would like a new owner to get the SIM together with the remaining £40 credit.
Thanks
Raf

Request a PAC and give it to the new owner who can then register it with another network. They can always return to O2 if they wish,

I know that. But how to I change the account details so that new owner keeps the credit?
You can't change the details on PAYG.
The credit will stay with the sim but the new owner will have to register it with new details.

I'd use the credit and then get a PAC and provide it to the new owner as the chances are they are a business owner (who like memorable numbers for obvious reasons) who will probably transfer it to an existing SIM anyway.
Good luck.

I would definitely go the PAC route because if the number has been registered on My O2 then that's where the security details will be needed for the new owner.
