Visual voicemail spam

I do not have this enabled. I do not want it enabled. I suspect if it were it would be costing me as I am getting inundated with network O2 messages about my balance is 0.00 etc (this is not unusual as I have a £10 contract so it goes to 0 as soon as I top up without issue so the amount is NOT a concern).

What is a concern is I have to dismiss them every single time. The issue is because I don't have the facility, I don't get the voicemail and hence have no number appears for me to block so I can't stop them coming.

I'm assuming this is something malicious because of the amount of spam I'm getting and without being presented with a number I have no number to block. Sometimes this means I have to click away 20+ times just to be able to access my phone which is insane.

It's quite unpleasant and I'd appreciate any advice on how to stop it.

Assume you are on Android then use the 3 dots at the rh top of you dialer a

App Go into voicemail settings and turn off.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
