Hi everyone
I bought a LG G7 ThinQ handset from Brent Cross O2 shop. Now I tried to unlock my handset for already 5 times and they give me same reason that handset is not from O2. But I had proof of purchase from O2. So I went to Brent Cross O2 and I spoke about this to one of advisor. He called to the customer service and that advisor help me a lot. But my phone is still locked and I can't use my sim card from Vodafone. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Thanks

@Cleoriff I already try at Independent shop and they can't do it as well. This evening I spoke with manager from Brent Cross O2 and he said they are planning to give me back my money because it's happened for almost one month.

The normal process is here https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/Unlocking-an-O2-phone-to-use-a-different-SIM-card/ba-p/1... and it's now free to unlock any O2 phone.
The message you are getting back usually means the phone is already unlocked though.
What happens when you put the voda sim in it?

@KH1 If the phone is still showing as locked you need to follow the guide in the link provided above.

I'd suggest you call to discuss it with O2 http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

@KH1Your best bet now is to take it to a market stall or independent shop who unlock all mobiles.
