Hi, so I've bought a payg phone from o2 and requested an unlock however they sent an email back stating they couldn't do it as it wasn't an o2 phone. I've had nothing but trouble with them over last month for different things now this. How can I get o2 to unlock the phone I bought from them??

So it should have been unlocked if bought over the past few months. @EmilieT or @Marjo can you help here please?

Fin i was a betting man, I’d say no. Call customer service and explain the problem and that you want to return or exchange it. They cannot refuse you your rights as a consumer.

I would wait until you are contacted by one of the two community managers I mentioned earlier @Dib

They will be back on Monday and have had great success unlocking phones when other methods have failed.
