@Luke4658

You have to speak to customer services not live chat https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

to have the adult restriction lifted

https://www.o2.co.uk/help/safety-and-security/age-restricted-content-and-age-verification

Or go instore with ID

@Luke4658  A credit card is usually proof that you are 18 or older. You can try speaking to customer service. Maybe you can send a copy of your birth certificate? https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus Office hours are reduced over the Bank Holiday. If you cannot call any of the numbers listed you can call from any phone on 0800 032 1402

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Live chat removed mine so might be worth trying again as you may get a different response from a different agent.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

i have called customer services today and they would not remove it, it looks like i will have to use giffgaff instead as they accept a driving licence when removing it online.

We've long since given up suggesting that O2 employ different methods of verification......
