I am in Poland and I am unable to make or receive any calls on my O2 mobile. Tried to call customer service from a different number (giffgaff works perfectly fine) but they are unable to find the reason! I have tried to change network provider ( it doesn't let me choose anything else than Orange), use the roaming but nothing works. Text messages from O2 are coming , I have access to internet but nothing else works. Anyone had similar situation? What to do to be able to make and receive calls again?

Can you try forcing your phone to 2g ?

If there's no 3g network, you won't be able to call over 4g.

You may need to switch to an app, like WhatsApp, for your calls and messages if the area you are in is not offering 3G, @Kamila84 - and your friends will have to use likewise to get through to you.  Did the same in Germany recently, where all 3G is gone.

As the giffgaff sim works it would seem to point to an account issue.

I'd get back on to O2 for another look.

Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG
