Hello,

While roaming in Italy I still have plenty of free calls / data but my balance is now strangely gone to zero and I cannot make calls. Any ideas?
Many thanks

@Bamboccio

If your balance has gone to zero then you need to top up..

@Bamboccio Your allowances should still work regardless of credit. You may have a roaming bar on your account so see if you can contact live check to get it checked http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Thanks a lot for your reply!
My balance was about £3 when I arrived to Italy and it has decreased since. No idea why it did. I wonder why O2 cannot provide pay as you go customers with a proper bill. Maybe because they like to keep their charges hidden?

The only charges you may get when in the EU is if you send an MMS message or call a number outside of the EU.
If you’ve not done either you should contact customer service for a refund.

Thanks a lot. I have not done it. Is there a number I can call from abroad? It goes without saying that this is a massive inconvenience and that O2 service is incredibly poor.

Try +44 844 809 0200 from any phone and they will put you through.

Is that a new number? It doesn't appear to be on the official list of numbers to call?
