My elderly dad is in hospital and as we are no longer able to visit him we have set him up with an iphone so we can Whatsapp videocall him.  He won't be making any calls himself, it is just for him to receive them.

I put an initial amount on the SIM and I want to be able to check his balance, just in case, and top up if necessary.

I registered with O2 and can see that I can add a product but the only problem is the system wants to send a code to the phone, but of course he has the phone, I haven't.

Is there any way round this as I'm trying to sort it without have to ring the nurses station to ask them to read me the code.

Unfortunately not.

The code is required for security reasons.
