Top up voucher- use on sim only?

An elderly relative accidentally purchased a £20 top up voucher for their phone, but their O2 contract is sim only. Is there any way of applying this to the account or is it a lost cause? Any other use for the non refundable voucher?

It can only be used to top up PAYG phones

Unless you have relatives or friends that can use it the only option is to try and sell it
