I have been trying to activate my new PAYG mobile and topped up £10 which I can see I have paid on my banking app and have received confirmation text from O2 but it has not been applied to my O2 balance therefore I cannot make calls etc. Customer services are closed. Has anyone else expereinced this - is there anything I can do now?

You're welcome @MCL

and yes, it does confuse a lot of people until explained to them.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hello,

You said if I top up £10, I will get data and unlimited calls and texts for 30 days. But I remember I top up £10 before, the balance would be £10, but now I donot want to exchange this to any allowances. As each month I really donot need to use so much allowances, just want to keep the balance. How can I do to transfer it back?

If you don't want allowances then just don't top up

The only tariffs now are bundles where top ups are exchanged for allowances

Yes, right, if I donot want the allowances, I donot top up that. But I want to keep the balance, like as the classic PAYG, I just paid I used, now how can I switch back to the classic PAYG?

You can't switch back because the Classic tariff is no longer available from O2

@Tomtom39

Credit is exchanged for allowances.

What's included in your allowances is in this guide Guide: Your Allowances - what is and isn't included
