As every month I do I wanted to top up my balance every time I used web top up and it always worked for me. Now today when I tried to top up I got this message ( The card number entered is not an accepted card type. ) Card type : MasterCard and bank company : Monese. I have no idea what is wrong with my card if it works everywhere and now i can't pay from it here

I don't think Monese is a bank card recognised by O2 (as a UK card). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monese

I missed that @Cleoriff and you are quite right, it needs to be a UK card linked to a UK bank account.

I had to do a google search @jonsie as I had never heard of it. On one site it said it was a card used generally by expats. That rang alarm bells so just looked a bit further. wink

What has changed to prevent this card from working now that has previously been used ok?
