I had a missed call this morning from a number I don't recognise. I went online on Who's Called Me in the UK and it wasn't a number that had been flagged up in any way. I decided to send a text asking who they were and why they had called my number. I received a text reply saying that they had received a call from me at 9.19 and called to see what I wanted.

Does this mean that my number has been cloned and being used fraudulently ? Does it mean that my data is being used?

Anyone else had this problem. I use a monthly Big Bundle

thanks, AL

@AL3

It just means that spammers have chosen to spoof your number.

Nothing you can do and they will move on to a different number tomorrow.

It's all about hiding their identity from detection and are a scurge to everyone at the moment.
