Just checking charges on my text and noticed I am being charged about 6p per text rather than 2p.

I'm on Classic Pay As You Go Sim and texts are not very long.

Can anybody explain this please?

Hi - many thanks for quick response, just checked the FAQ then checked phone settings and for some reason the phone was set to Pay As You Go Monthy??? Not sure how this happened, but changed it and now seems to be back to normal rates for now.

@RobMac

Are you using emojies? Ie hearts smiley faces etc. If so then check here

If not then you should check with O2 as the text rates should be as you say.

@RobMac

It's clearly charging you for 3 texts which could be because you are going over 320 characters or just that the network thinks it's not delivered and keeps trying to send.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
