I have £20 on my o2 app for the tariff renewal, 

it will not take the money from my account it just keeps asking for my bank details but I have already put the money on my account can someone help please Iv tried ringing several times but can’t get past the automated system

If you're on a rolling plan it won't take money from your balance, it has to be from a debit card each month.

You'll have to keep trying 4445, @Liv7 - or use another method to add funds this month until you get through: Guide How to Top Up (PAYG) and Pay As You Go: Introducing "Rolling Plans"
