Switching to Tesco mobile

Hello,

I'm thinking of changing one of my numbers from O2 PAYG to Tesco Mobile which is also PAYG. (Don't worry - my other phone is still with O2!) I just want to know if my PAYG phone credit is transferred across with it? If not, what should I do with it?

I see Tesco Mobile is powered by O2, so I will still be with you all in spirit! 😂

Thanks

You can get a PAC and move back to O2, but it will have to be on a then current tariff

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Credit won't be transferred

We used to say use it or lose it but the t&c's now say you can request a refund from O2

You would need to contact customer service

Note that credit is only refunded if you take your number with you, not if you get a new number with the new provider.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Tesco Mobile is basically rebranded O2, it uses the same mobile network.

As the OP wrote. "I see Tesco Mobile is powered by O2, so I will still be with you all in spirit!" I think they are aware of that.

It's called a MNVO (Mobile Network Virtual Operator) Sky is another one, but don't tell them they are rebadged O2

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
